Sound is Everything… (except nothing)
In the absence of vibration is a void. Matter, energy, our bodies and everything else that we experience is sound. Sound has more meaning, complexity and significance than I ever thought before since discovering Solfeggio Frequencies.
What are Solfeggio Frequencies?
Recently during a Chakra Tour in Peru, I was introduced to an old word Solfeggio. The first record of the Solfeggio scale of six mathematical frequencies go back to a medieval hymn to John the Baptist. These chants were used by the (then very full of light) church gatherings to sing to the crowd for healing and spiritual inspiration to be more “Godlike”, the first real soul music. Since Vatican II any hymns containing Solfeggio “disappeared” and the scale was manipulated and changed through time to the very different frequencies of our classical seven note musical scale.
Solfeggio frequencies are the vibratory expressions of our physical reality, sometimes referred to as a ‘matrix’. These frequencies are both ancient and timeless as they are the basis of all material and hence are the very structure of energy. In all there are 6 frequencies measured in hertz(Hz). Each of these frequencies correspond to a specific chakra in the human body due to our deoxyribanoid DNA’s built in potential. Both the known and unknown capabilities of these frequencies and the subsequent somatic responses are available for all.
The Six Solfeggio Frequencies include:
UT - 396 Hz – Liberating Guilt and Fear – Root Chakra
RE - 417 Hz – Undoing Situations and Facilitating Change – Sacral Chakra
MI - 528 Hz – Transformation and Miracles (DNA Repair) – Solar Plexus
FA - 639 Hz – Connecting/Relationships – Heart Chakra
SOL -741 Hz – Expression/Solutions – Throat Chakra
LA - 852 Hz – Awakening Intuition- Third Eye Chakra
Ut, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La go up the spine, defining shushumna with sound frequencies that manifest progressive and evolutionary tendencies that may be dormant in the body. These sounds help to release kundalini energy in the body whilst simultaneously expanding our subtle and transcendental bodies.
